Honey nuts

300 g crushed nuts, 100 g honey, 3-4 tablespoons sugar, 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil.

Pour honey over the crushed nuts for a day, then roll the nuts in sugar and fry, stirring constantly, in vegetable oil. When the sugar becomes transparent, the nuts are ready. Serve hot on a dish greased with vegetable oil.

Chuck-chuck

500 g flour, 4 eggs, 1/2 cup milk, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, 200 g honey, 2 tablespoons vodka, vegetable oil for frying, salt to taste.

Grind eggs with butter and 1/2 spoon of sugar, add milk, salt and pour in vodka. After this, add flour and knead into a stiff dough. Roll out the dough into ropes about half a centimeter thick and cut it into small squares. In a deep frying pan in vegetable oil, fry the dough squares until golden brown and place them in the cast iron. Combine sugar and honey, bring the mixture to a boil, mix the resulting syrup well and pour it into the cast iron pot with the dough. Mix the resulting mass, place it on a board greased with vegetable oil, smooth it into a thin layer in the form of a rectangle, cool slightly and cut into squares with a side of 3–4 cm. Transfer the squares to a dish and serve.

Happy Hanukkah to everyone, joy in the home and the world!
