For me, as for everyone who trembles before the word of the Torah, the final resting place of the Kohanim and the Sefer Stamov (copyists) is especially sacred. This was their final home. Then comes death.

I was particularly impressed by the quality of the mikvahs' finishing. Even after two thousand years, the plaster did not peel off. The mikvahs were made with special care. Magnificent large mikvahs, and in great numbers.

There are also a large number of water reservoirs at Qumran, to which water pipes lead.

Being at Qumran, I want to say "your sacrifice was not in vain - today Israel is flourishing, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs are celebrated in Israel, the holidays of Hashem and Shabbat are celebrated, your books have reached us and Hashem the Blessed gives rain to Eretz Israel"
