Why Gd made the Holocaust?

Why Gd made the Holocaust?
- Dear Rabbi Eliyahu Essas, hello!
Thank you very much for your answers. My question is: why Gd made a holocaust of their people? Thanks for the answer.

As for the essence of your question, first of all, I note that it is asked often. And, as a rule, people who either do not study Torah or superficially familiar with the text, without comparing the contents of any Jewish history nor modernity. I hope that this answer will help you and other visitors to make at least one more step in their spiritual development.
First of all you need to know that the term "Holocaust" is meant generally terrible tragedy of our people (in contrast to the tragedies of individuals). In the Torah, Gd describes in detail these two nation-wide tragedy that concern the children of Israel. And even reveals spiritual reasons that could lead to the Holocaust. If these reasons are formulated in one sentence - we are talking about such a spiritual level of the people and as the implementation of the commandments, which is lower than that required in a particular period of history. In other words, there is a lower limit when crossing the "red line" a real threat to the people of Israel the Holocaust.
I stress that the events that occurred in the world 70-80 years ago (about them, in fact, you and write), not only the Holocaust in our history. Here are some examples of the other two: this is what happened immediately before and after the destruction of the First and Second Temple. As a "candidate" in the Holocaust, in a sense it can be called and the events that unfolded around the Bar Kochba revolt (about the middle of the second century AD).
In the Torah, you can find a sufficiently detailed description of the main characteristics of the Holocaust, including the last. Read this book "Leviticus," chapter 26, as well as in the book "Deuteronomy" Chapter 28. I propose carefully, slowly start to explore each of the chapters mentioned here, where it is clear enough and explicitly refers to the conditions, compliance with which the people of Israel can guarantee us the blessings of heaven and then - a normal, prosperous existence. Next, carefully read the description of what could be, if the conditions are met will not. In these fragments much, I believe, it will seem familiar from the stories of people who survived the Holocaust during the Second World War. And with no less attention to read the passages, the final chapter I mentioned. From their content, it follows that, despite the Shoah (Holocaust), the Almighty we will never leave.
From all the reading will be fairly obvious what to do and how to live, to the Holocaust will never happen again.
